After a trip to the sandblaster, it was painfully apparent that there was a lot of missing, damaged metal that would need to be replaced. |

The car was mounted in our 360 degree rotating jig to gain access to the areas needing attention. The front floorboards were replaced with available patch panels, but much of the sections being replaced, including the body mounts, lower rear quarter panel, inner wheel wells, and trunk floor extension, had to be hand fabricated. The outer firewall was also smoothed to create a cleaner look under the hood. |

Seat mounts were fabricated to fit the late model buckets that the customer decided to use. |

The two halves of the hood were welded together and smoothed. |

With the major metal fabrication out of the way, the car moves on to body work. |

While still on the rotating jig, and before the body is placed on the frame, the underside of the car is sprayed with a protective layer of body shuts. |

Next the body, fenders, hood, and trunk lid are sprayed with primer, then poly, the guide coated and sanded smooth. |
