Tearing down the Road Runner, engine well

We got started by tearing the car down to see just how much damage had happened over the years.
Rust on the floors

Once we got the car torn down we found a lot of rust damage to the floors, fenders, body and frame. Some of this metal will have to be completely replaced to ensure that the rust does not come back.

Some of the minor patch work included the corners of the doors and the floorboards.

Braces being welded into place

The rear fenders however are to be completely replaced with fenders from a donor car.

Before the old ones are removed braces are welded in place.
