Gary Zumalt, one of our excellent metal fabricators and a Lamborghini enthusiast, was eager to begin, and got right to work removing all the old components. |

The first thing that had to be done was the removal of the Chrysler motor and transmission. |

After the motor was removed, the next step was cutting away the supports for the rear section. |

Then the rear frame section, including the Corvette suspension, was removed from the car. |

After all the old components are removed, the remaining frame work is cleaned up and prepped to be ready for the new reproduction Lamborghini rear frame section. |

Now the fabrication of the new rear frame begins with the lower frame rail section, by using jigs to layout the tubing, we assure that the new parts will have the exact same geometry of real Lamborghini frame and suspension. |

Modifications had to be made near the suspension pivots on the right side due to the fact we will be using a Diablo motor, which has an off set differential, verses a Countach. (Continued on next page) |
