For the DIY guys, our store stocks many common performance and dress up parts, and if we dont stock it we can get it. For the guy that just does not have the time, our experienced mechanics can build you that monster mill that you've been dreaming of having under your hood. We offer a wide variety of specialized automotive services. While we are equipped to complete full ground up builds and restorations, HRE also offers regular service and maintenance for classic, custom and performance cars. We are also the place to go for performance upgrades from superchargers to full engine swaps, as well as transmission and suspension upgrades. For the finest in show quality paint and body work, Hot Rod Express is your shop. The fabrication shop has the ability to build your custom chassis, upgrade your suspension, repair any rust you have, and any other ideas you can come up with.
The metal fabricators at HRE have years of experience building frames and components for street rods, race cars, and restorations of all types. The metal shop is equipped with an English wheel, planishing hammer, two brakes, 5 slip roller, mill, hydraulic shears and punches, lathe, MIG and TIG welding. If you need help on a portion of your build, or want a street rod built from the ground up, HRE is your one stop shop for fabrication.
Hot Rod Express offers full body and paint service. With a full PPG Global mixing bank we can mix just about any color you can dream up - and with an air filtration paint booth, along with skilled staff with years of experience, we can ensure you that perfect paint job you've been dreaming of.
Upholstery and Trim
Whether you're looking for custom design and fabrication or a factory reproduction, the interior department at Hot Rod Express can handle any of your interior trim needs. We have made seats covers, doors, consoles, dash drops and convertible tops, all from scratch. We also have experience restoring old interior parts and components. Unlike most interior shops, our trimmers have access to fabricating tools and equipment, and the knowledge to achieve the demanding standards of today's custom car world. Our lead Upholsterer has over 25 years experience and has had work featured in several publications, as well as on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine.
